Performance Marketing Manager

Hex are on the lookout for a Performance Marketing Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

 

The key responsibilities for this role are:

 

  • Plan, optimise, implement and manage paid search/social media campaigns with particular focus on Google AdWords and Facebook Ads
  • Develop paid search/social strategies alongside the client and other Hex team members
  • Input into ad creative based on learnings and best practice
  • Manage medium to large-sized PPC budgets
  • Manage at least one Junior PPC Executive
  • Work with the design and development team to ensure landing pages are effectively optimised for all PPC campaigns to ensure maximum ROI and conversion rate.
  • Perform keyword research and manage all keyword bidding
  • Ensure all paid activity falls in line with the larger marketing strategy
  • Ensure all conversion tracking is working correctly, working with the development team where required
  • Analyse activity and performance of all paid campaigns
  • Produce and present reports to clients on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends

Lead Developer

We’re looking for an ambitious, creative and forward-thinking Lead Developer to join our team; someone who can lead by example and help drive Hex forward with new technologies, best practices and coding standards. Working with our existing development systems and processes, you’ll be given the freedom and autonomy to expand on and improve them with the ultimate goal to ensure the Hex dev department is as efficient and effective as possible, producing work of the highest standard for our clients.

 

You’ll report directly to our Head of Projects and Managing Partners whilst overseeing a team of up to 4 other developers working across a range of technologies including: PHP (5.6), MySQL, HTML5, CSS3 (including animations and transitions), SCSS, BEM syntax, ITCSS, InuitCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, NPM, Gulp.js, shell scripting, network administration, AWS (IAM, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, Elastic Transcoder), Apache, Nginx, Nagios, UNIX based OSs, Photoshop, Illustrator, front and backend optimisation, TDD/BDD, PHPUnit, CI (Jenkins/Travis).

Mid-weight Full Stack Developer

Hex is looking for a Junior/Midweight Full Stack PHP Developer to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the code they write and naturally likes to keep themselves up-to-date with best practices and latest technologies.

 

You’ll be working as part of a development team who will show you the ropes, systems and processes. You’ll become adept with a heap of technologies such as Gulp.js, NPM, Canvas API, Nginx, OPcache, Elastic, socket.io, BEM methodology and ITCSS. With the right attitude, this is the perfect opportunity to learn a lot very quickly in a friendly and fun environment.
